(Observed annually on 11 October)

Empowering Girls. Transforming Futures.

International Day of the Girl Child highlights the unique challenges girls face worldwide and calls for action to unlock their full potential. At GLOW UP, this day is deeply personal, because the girls we serve are often the most vulnerable and the most overlooked.

Girls living in orphanages or foster care systems face barriers to education, health, safety, and opportunity. Without intentional support, their potential risks being lost. GLOW UP exists to change that narrative.

Why This Day Matters to GLOW UP

Through our programs in education, health & well-being, and nutrition & food security, we empower girls aged 10–18 to grow into confident leaders and economic contributors.
