Periods Should Never Be a Barrier

Menstrual Hygiene Day raises awareness about the importance of menstrual health, dignity, and access to hygiene resources. For many girls in orphanages and foster care systems, menstruation is surrounded by stigma, silence, and lack of supplies often leading to missed school days and reduced confidence.

At GLOW UP, we believe menstrual health is a human right.

Why Menstrual Hygiene Matters

Lack of access affects girls’ education and self-esteem

Stigma harms mental and emotional well-being

Proper education promotes health, dignity, and confidence

Our Commitment

Menstrual health education workshops

Distribution of sanitary products

Safe spaces for open conversations

Empowering girls with knowledge about their bodies

By addressing menstrual hygiene, we remove barriers that prevent girls from fully participating in education and life.
